French Railway Oak, Residential Project

Here are some images from a client who used our Reclaimed 1950's French Railway Oak for flooring throughout their home. We hand-sanded these boards, plugged the remaining nail holes and then use bow ties to help strengthen the boards for wear and longevity. The client opted to finish the boards at home, using a clear Hard Wax Oil. This helps bring out the different tones in the boards and add warmth to the rooms in which they are situated.
